The Jane Doe Novel Experiment

Creating Two New Novels. Writing One Chapter Weekly. Podcasting As I Go. Welcome to The Experiment.

Which Novel Do I Write?

Sounds like a silly question since I already said I’m writing, Disillusioned. (And have a pretty nice cover for it!) However, I’m starting to wonder…

I want to write, Disillusioned. I’ve wanted to write it for years. I love the characters.:

Star and Philip have lived in the same world since birth, however, they view that world very differently. Star views her life of privilege with wonder and amazement. Philip and everyone else who loves Star tries to keep that image up for her…until they were no longer able to. After growing up with rose-colored glasses, Star must learn that although a Prince Charming or two may exist, life is not always a fairytale.

I also want to write: Il Y A Pour Quatre (Enough for Four). I’ve wanted to write this one for about a week. ^.^ :

Lily knows both what and who she wants. She is also willing to step outside of her marriage to get it. However, she is not a cheater. Nothing happens unless all parties agree. That is, until they don’t all agree. Her husband has always been willing to allow Lily to have meaningful even if sometimes sexual relationships with other women, but when Lily falls for the husband of one of her girlfriends, no one seems to be on board except Lily & the forbidden lover. Will Lily abide by her own law of what’s right and wrong or break it?

Any opinions…and fast!…will help! =)

This isn’t really a problem, hun. Write both. May turn out to be the solution to writer’s block. When you’re stuck on one, write the other. You might have to change your schedule a bit …

@Danielle – you are a genius! What better way to overcome writer’s block than to turn my attention to another story? I’ll update my schedule and expectations (for both myself and the readers/listeners) in another post. =)

Leave your thoughts on the above, below. ^.^
